About Me

Hello, and welcome! My name is Sara (she/her). I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Washington. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Anthropology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and my Master of Social Work from the University of Washington.

Prior to attaining my MSW, I worked as an advocate and case manager for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, stalking, and human trafficking. While in graduate school I completed practicum placements at a local eating disorder program and an outpatient clinic focused on trauma recovery. After graduating with my MSW, I worked as an individual and group therapist at the intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization levels of care before starting my private practice.

My work centers around adults who are struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, work stress, and/or relationships and boundaries. I take an eclectic approach to therapy and draw from a range of evidence-based techniques tailored to help my clients meet their goals. I prioritize building and maintaining a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients, while also emphasizing the role of other important relationships, their personal history, and their values.

I invite you to reach out if you are interested in learning more about what therapy with me would be like. I value the time spent getting to know new clients and would love to connect with you.
